Senior Business Analyst

Job Summary:

The Senior Business Analyst will lead and support application modernization, business process transformation, and data migration efforts within a complex, multi-layered architecture environment. This role involves requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, gap analysis, and alignment of business functions with the MVAD solution. The analyst will also coordinate testing, data mapping, and organizational readiness activities, ensuring successful implementation and adoption of new systems.

Responsibilities:

• Lead validation of solution design from a business perspective.
• Plan, facilitate, conduct, and document business process and requirements validation workshops, meetings, and interviews.
• Collaborate with clients to configure systems, including security settings.
• Guide and assist with data migration activities such as data cleansing, conversion, gap identification, and validation.
• Develop and execute test cases; lead internal and client testing efforts including User Acceptance Testing.
• Support change management activities in collaboration with business representatives and change management teams.
• Assist with training activities related to new or enhanced system functionality.
• Create and finalize standard project artifacts including workflows, use cases, requirements documents, fit-gap analysis, business process models, and user guides.
• Complete other client-related project tasks to ensure project success as directed by the Project Manager or Delivery Manager.

Required Skills:

• Post-secondary education in business, computer science, or a related field.
• 7+ years of Business Analyst experience with 3-6 years on complex, large-scale modernization projects.
• Experience soliciting, documenting, and validating business requirements.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, business process transformation, and change management skills.
• Proven written and oral communication skills.
• Experience supporting data migration including data mapping, conversion, validation, and reconciliation.
• Experience preparing and executing test strategies, test plans, and test cases, as well as monitoring test execution.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with mainframe systems and solutions.
• Professional certifications related to business analysis or project management.
• Familiarity with .NET Framework 4.7.2 WebForms, WCF components, and ASP.NET Core (.NET 8, Razor Pages).
