The Program Specialist opening is a current vacant position at General Dynamics Land Systems – Canada. The base salary hiring range for this position is $66,400 to $87,200 per year. Once in the role, successful candidates will have the opportunity to progress through the full salary range based on performance. This range reflects the base salary only and does not include additional components of our total compensation package, such as our incentive award program and other rewards like health benefits, employee profit‑sharing, retirement savings, and more. Key Job Elements

• Monitor, coordinate and report on program activities within the scope of the contract to ensure deliverables achieve cost, schedule and performance
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers to facilitate effective contract execution
• Liaise between various multi-disciplined teams in support of program objectives
• Support the coordination of all Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL) deliveries and program schedule milestones
• Lead the development, management and execution of kitting program
• Support program release planning and monitoring of Program major subcontract milestones
• Lead progress meetings with internal teams, coordinating resolution and follow up on technical or programmatic issues
• Develop and maintain reporting / presentations to a variety of internal and external stakeholders
• Support bid and proposal process
• Track program proposals and payment plans
• Support managing risk elements of the program
• Prepare contractual correspondence; including, meetings / presentation material
• Track monthly performance reports and take appropriate action, as required
• Exercise a mindset of continuous process improvements and efficiencies
• Ensure all Program activities meet compliance requirements (ITAR / EAR / FCPA / GP / SOX, etc.)
• Assume coverage for Associate Program Manager, as required
• Short term special assignments, as required
