Senior Accountant

S3 Group Ltd. is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Finance team.This is an opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working beyond the numbers. Reporting directly to the CFO, the Senior Accountant will play an important role in financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, cash flow management, and continuous improvement across S3 Group's business units.The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and comfortable working through complex financial information. You will work closely with leadership and teams across the organization, providing accurate financial information and helping support sound business decisions.What You'll DoAs Senior Accountant, you will:Assist with the preparation of divisional, month-end, year-end, and consolidated financial statementsPrepare and analyze interim and monthly financial statementsSupport weekly financial reporting, including sales month-to-date and short-term cash flow projectionsManage cash flow forecasting and analysisAssist with the annual budgeting process, including P&L, cash flow, and capital expenditure budgetsComplete financial, data, and variance analysis to identify trends and support decision-makingPrepare journal entries and supporting working papersAssist business units with complex accounting transactions and financial questionsWork with the CFO to review and audit internal controls across S3 Group business unitsParticipate actively in Finance department leadership and initiativesHelp identify opportunities to strengthen financial processes, reporting, and controls across the organizationWhat You BringBachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related disciplineMore than three years of accounting experience in a senior accounting or financial management roleStrong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex, multi-layered problemsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to critically evaluate information, verify data, and apply sound business judgmentA self-motivated and self-directed approach to your workAbility to work effectively with multiple departments and levels of managementProficiency with accounting software and MRP or ERP systemsAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelComfort working through change and ambiguity while contributing to continuous improvementExperience in a manufacturing environment is considered an assetCPA designation is considered an assetWhy Join S3 Group?At S3 Group, Finance works closely with every part of the business.
