Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Crane Operator to join our clients team. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
Afternoon Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
As a Shipping/ Crane Operator, you will be accountable to:
- Manage and do minor verification of the receipt or packing slips of all products, materials, and supplies
- Oversees loading and unloading of goods
- Compliance with health and safety
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Forklift operator experience
- Overhead crane experience
- Computer skills / Microsoft Office
- Previous experience in manufacturing environment is an asset.
Ideal candidate must have:
- At least 2-3 years Shipping/Receiving experience
- Attention to detail, ability to work independently and under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Physically capable of performing all work-related task and assignments.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
