5-Axis CNC Machinist- Woodbridge- Day Shift- Upto $38/hr

Shift Premium: 5% of hourly rate
Overtime: Paid after 40 hours per week
Location: Mississauga, Ontario About the Opportunity A well-established precision component manufacturer is hiring a Senior 5-Axis CNC Machinist to support ongoing production and long-term growth. This role is suited for an experienced machinist capable of programming, setup, and operation of advanced 5-axis CNC milling equipment. The environment is clean, professional, and focused on high-precision, low-tolerance work. Turnover is low, and long-term growth opportunities exist for the right individual. Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 5-axis CNC vertical milling machines
• Perform programming, setup, and operation
• Load, unload, modify, and optimize CNC programs
• Select, change, grind, and set cutting tools
• Adjust feeds and speeds to maximize efficiency and part quality
• Use appropriate fixtures, indicators, and tooling
• Measure and inspect parts to ensure dimensional accuracy and tolerance compliance
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and GD&T
• Deburr and prepare parts before and after machining
• Operate equipment in accordance with all safety procedures
• Support continuous improvement initiatives
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Experience & Skills

• 7+ years of CNC machining experience in a precision manufacturing environment
• Strong experience with 5-axis CNC milling
• Fanuc and/or Haas control experience required
• Experience with Mastercam strongly preferred
• Ability to independently program, set up, and run jobs end-to-end
• Solid understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
• Previous jobbing shop experience is an asset
• Formal CNC training, certification, or apprenticeship is an asset
