Hays Engineering are delighted to be supporting a leading UK manufacturer in the search for an experienced Productpliance Manager to join their growing team.This is an excellent opportunity for apliance professional with a strong background in product safety, regulatory standards and quality systems to play a key role in ensuring products meet UK, European and internationalpliance requirements.

Your new role

Reporting into senior leadership, you will be responsible for managing and developing the organisation's productpliance strategy, ensuring all products meet current legislative, regulatory and customer requirements. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading all productpliance activities across a diverse product portfolio.
  • Monitoring changes in UK and international regulations and assessing business impact.
  • Managing product testing, certification and approval processes.
  • Working closely with Engineering, Quality, Procurement and Manufacturing teams to ensurepliance is embedded throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Maintaining technical documentation, declarations of conformity andpliance records.
  • Supporting internal and external audits and acting as the key point of contact for regulatory bodies and certification organisations.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives relating to product safety,pliance and risk management.
  • Providing guidance and training to internal stakeholders onpliance requirements and best practice.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in a Productpliance, Regulatory Affairs, Quality or Technicalpliance role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of UKCA, CE marking and relevant product legislation.
  • Experience managingpliance documentation, testing programmes and certification processes.
  • Knowledge of ISO quality standards andpliance frameworks.
  • Excellent stakeholder management andmunication skills.
  • Ability to interpretplex regulatory requirements and translate them into practical business actions.
  • Strong project management and organisational capabilities.
