Senior Project Manager to assist with delivery of a work and asset management (Maximo) system

Our power & utilities client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to assist with delivery of a work and asset management (Maximo) system integration and process creating, including managing a 3rd party vendor and executive presentations

Candidates can be located in Calgary or Edmonton. Hybrid work model of in-office and WFH

Must Haves

• 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager delivering large-scale IT initiatives within operational environments
• Project delivery expertise with Maximo, OIC, OFS, and Work & Asset Management processes
• Experience partnering with Organizational Change Management (OCM) teams on system and process adoption
• Expertise managing Waterfall, Agile, governance frameworks, vendors, contracts, and SOWs
• Experience with executive-level presentations and facilitating meetings and negotiating with stakeholders

Nice to Have

• Experience working with regulated utilities in Electric and Gas environments
• Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Proficiency with MS Project, Power BI, and advanced Excel
• Familiarity with managed service provider engagement processes
• Business analysis skills supporting requirements gathering and process improvements

Responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle for Operations IT Enhancements initiatives
• Collaborate with the OCM Lead to execute change management strategies
• Present project updates, risks, milestones, and variances to executive stakeholders and steering committees
• Align technical implementation activities with operational business processes and objectives
• Manage third-party vendor SOWs, work authorizations, and milestone tracking
• Complete status reporting, budget forecasting, accrual tracking, and variance reporting
• Collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and operational teams to execute project deliverables
