Rate: $55/hr T4 OR $70/hr Inc.

About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking an experienced Load Balancing Specialist (L2) to join its infrastructure and networking environment on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on networking professional with strong enterprise load-balancing experience who can quickly step into an existing environment and make an immediate impact. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and troubleshooting load-balancing infrastructure, establishing and maintaining client-to-server connectivity, and resolving network traffic and application delivery issues. This role is well suited to someone who can work independently, troubleshoot complex connectivity issues, and collaborate effectively with infrastructure and networking teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, administer, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise load-balancing infrastructure and services.
• Establish and maintain reliable connectivity between client and server environments.
• Troubleshoot network traffic, routing, application delivery, and client-server connectivity issues.
• Diagnose and resolve traffic flow and communication problems across enterprise environments.
• Implement network and load-balancing configuration changes.
• Support infrastructure projects and related network initiatives.
• Monitor the performance and availability of load-balancing services.
• Collaborate with networking, infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure stable and secure communications.
• Support Telnet-based communication pathways where required.
• Participate in operational support and incident resolution activities.
• Work independently with minimal ramp-up time and contribute immediately to day-to-day operations.

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience supporting and administering enterprise load-balancing solutions, such as F5, Citrix ADC / NetScaler and Similar Application Delivery Controller (ADC) technologies
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, Routing, Firewalls, Network traffic and connectivity troubleshooting
• Proven Level 2 support experience within an enterprise networking environment.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot and implement client-to-server connectivity solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and become productive quickly within an existing technical environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong French language skills are highly preferred.
• Experience supporting large enterprise or manufacturing environments.
• Experience with Application Delivery Controllers (ADCs).
• Knowledge of SSL offloading and certificate-related load-balancing configurations.
• Experience with high-availability load-balancing configurations.
• Experience working in an ITIL-based operational support environment.
• Experience supporting infrastructure projects and network changes.
