Packaging Maintenance Supervisor

Job description :

We are looking for a maintenance supervisor packaging to join a manufacturing company in the packaging industry. Reporting to the maintenance director, you will supervise a team of electromechanics and play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and improvement of production equipment.

Main Responsibilities:

• Supervise, motivate, and develop a team of electromechanics;
• Plan and ensure the execution of preventive and corrective maintenance work;
• Ensure the performance and reliability of equipment;
• Help resolve equipment downtime and recurring issues;
• Provide technical expertise and track maintenance issues;
• Collaborate with production teams and various departments to ensure operational continuity;
• Participate in the plant’s improvement and capital projects;
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and internal procedures;
• Participate in the recruitment, training, and development of the team;
• Manage inventory and maintenance parts.

Skills and qualifications :

• DEC in industrial maintenance, mechanical engineering, or a related field;
• 3 to 5 years of experience supervising a team in a manufacturing environment;
• Experience in the packaging industry is a significant asset;
• Experience with a maintenance management system, ideally SAP;
• Working knowledge of French and English;
• Leadership, excellent communication skills, and a strong sense of responsibility;
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and motivate a team;
• Independence, organizational skills, and a focus on continuous improvement.
