Rural Roads Health Services (RRHS) is actively seeking applicants for a Support Analyst.This position is based across Rural Roads Health Services and requires travel between Alexandra Hospital Ingersoll and Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital.Key ResponsibilitiesAccurately record, update and resolve requests using the IT service desk system.Install and configure computer and telecommunications equipment, network cabling and peripherals; perform preventative hardware maintenance and implement software updates and upgrades in coordination with vendors as required.Resolve incidents with PCs, printers, scanners, copiers, networking and phones, and provide first-line support for clinical and other user applications.Create and administer Active Directory user and computer accounts.Provide timely service over the phone, by email and in person, including user education, assistance and guidance on computer-related concerns.Work closely with other members of the Information Technology team to ensure workflow, back-end processes and operating systems function optimally, and assist with IT procedures, hospital projects and task teams as required.Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality, protect network security and ensure adherence to system and network usage and security policies. Qualifications RequiredPost-secondary 2-year diploma in a computer-related discipline with an emphasis on the diagnosis and resolution of hardware and software issues or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience as deemed acceptable by the Hospitals. Experience within a health care environment considered an asset.Experience with DNS, DHCP, Wired and Wireless technologies, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Hardware (PC, printer, switches, mobile devices), VMware Virtualization and Microsoft Windows Environments.Experience with PC/Laptop hardware repairs or upgrades preferred.Experience with network and telecommunications troubleshooting preferred.Experience with domains preferred.Proven ability to demonstrate practical troubleshooting and problem analysis techniques using excellent analytical and decision making skills.Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people in a professional manner, face to face, on the telephone and in writing/email.Strong team player with the willingness and ability to take initiative and contribute positively to the team.Other pertinent conditions:Must be available to work On Call/Call in Rotation.Must be available to work all shifts as required, which may include; weekends, statutory holidays, days, evenings and night shifts.
