Print Production Level 1

Our client is seeking a Print Production Level 1 to join their team. As a Print Production Level 1, you will be part of the production team supporting day-to-day print output and finishing. The ideal candidate will have patience, strong attention to detail, and reliable communication which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Print Production Level 1

Location: Halifax, NS

Pay Rate: $22/hr

What's the Job?

• Operate digital print equipment to produce scheduled output accurately and on time.
• Operate a Mail Inserter and standard finishing equipment (paper cutters, bindery, laminating, and drill).
• Perform basic quality inspection before, during, and after each production run.
• Wrap, pack, label, and ship finished product according to delivery requirements.
• Problem solve basic production issues to keep runs moving and meet output expectations.

What's Needed?

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and work on your feet for up to 80% of the day.
• Comfort learning and developing on the job, including troubleshooting basic equipment issues.
• Good communication skills (oral and written) to coordinate effectively during production.
• Intermediate use of MS Office, Adobe, and other relevant software.
• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent; post high school technology training or experience is preferred.
