Electrical Instructor – Evening Program

Are you an experienced Electrical professional with a passion for teaching and mentorship? We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Electrical Instructor to join our growing team. If you’re ready to help shape the next generation of skilled tradespeople, this opportunity is for you.

What You’ll Do

• Teach Electrical curriculum in both classroom and lab settings (in?person and online) Monday–Thursday, 5:00pm–10:30pm

• Engage students through lectures, hands?on activities, and industry?relevant content

• Track attendance, assess performance, and support student retention and success

• Maintain an organized and professional learning environment

• Collaborate with staff, Career Services, and participate in school events

• Stay up to date with Electrical industry standards, codes, and maintain required certifications

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of Electrical industry experience

• Valid Electrical certification (e.g., 309A, 442A, or equivalent)

• Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable with CRM/LMS platforms

• Strong communication skills and a commitment to student success

• Experience in adult education or private career colleges is an asset, but not required

• Two professional references verifying industry or teaching experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 48 months of recent Electrical work or teaching experience OR

• 24 months of experience plus one of the following:

  Bachelor’s degree (Canadian or equivalent)

  College diploma or equivalent

  Trade certification (Ontario College of Trades or equivalent)
