Responsibilities
• Lead and supervise production employees in a continuous manufacturing environment
• Oversee daily production, safety, quality and efficiency
• Monitor manufacturing processes and process control systems
• Train, coach and support production staff
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve processes
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, food safety and quality standards
• Work with Maintenance, Quality, Engineering and Operations teams
Requirements
• 2–5 years of experience in food, chemical, process or industrial manufacturing
• Previous Production Supervisor, Production Team Lead or Manufacturing Lead experience
• Post-secondary education in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering Technology, Stationary Engineering, Chemistry or related field
