About Us: We are a busy household in Vaughan looking for a reliable, highly organized part-time Nanny-Housekeeper hybrid. My parents live with me and are in the house, but we need dedicated afternoon support to handle the heaviest parts of our daily routine. We have two independent older boys (aged 6 and 4) who are with me on an alternating bi-weekly schedule, and a newborn who will be with me full-time. What We Are Offering: • Rate: $20.00 per hour (On-the-books payroll with T4). • Hours: A guaranteed, flat 15 hours every single week (30 hours per bi-weekly cycle). • Schedule (Subject to Change): Our current target schedule alternates by week to match our shared custody rhythm. Note: Exact daily timing is subject to change/refinement based on the newborn's routine. • Week 1 (Boys are Home): Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 3:30 PM to 8:30 PM. • Week 2 (Older Boys Away): Wednesday and Thursday from 3:30 PM to 8:30 PM Saturday Morning from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Core Responsibilities: • Newborn Care: Hands-on infant care (feeding, soothing, diapering, and bedtime preparation), especially during family dinner times or while the older boys are out at afternoon activities. • Kitchen Assistance & Prep: Emptying and washing school lunchboxes, setting the family dinner table, light ingredient prep/chopping, clearing the table, and loading the dishwasher. • Targeted Household Maintenance: Keeping the main floor tidy, quick vacuuming/sweeping of high-traffic areas, turning over family laundry, and running appliance cycles during off-peak hours. • Week 2 Saturday Focus: Stripping/remaking bed linens and executing a basic upper and lower-level deep clean of the home while the older kids are away. • Nightly Morning Staging: Spending the final 15–20 minutes of the weekday shifts pre-packing the boys' lunchboxes for the next day, laying out school clothes, and setting the breakfast table so the morning runs smoothly. Requirements & Skills: • Must have active, verifiable experience caring for newborns/infants. • Up-to-date Infant CPR and First Aid certifications. • Clear Criminal Record Check / Vulnerable Sector Screening. • Must be highly reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a structured, task-driven environment alongside grandparents. • Legal authorization to work in Canada (Social Insurance Number required for payroll). • Native French fluency is highly preferred as we speak French in the home.
