Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Payroll Associate to join their team. This is a critical, time-sensitive role with opportunities for professional growth and advancement into a supervisory position.

This role provides an opportunity to support the payroll function for a large Canadian employee population, participate in system testing and enhancements, and manage important year-end activities. You will play an important role in ensuring payroll is processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Process payroll for a large Canadian employee population.
• Support and oversee the full payroll function, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
• Experience using Oracle
• Manage year-end payroll activities, including preparation and processing of required employee tax documentation.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive payroll information.
• Demonstrate strong organization, attention to detail, prioritization, and time-management skills.
• Adapt effectively to changing requirements, competing priorities, and time-sensitive deadlines.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve payroll issues and support continuous process improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Oracle.
• Experience processing high-volume payroll, preferably for 500 or more employees.
• Strong experience with multi-provincial Canadian payroll is required.
• PCP designation is mandatory.
• Familiarity with Quebec payroll requirements is considered a significant asset.
• Experience with payroll system testing, enhancements, implementations, or upgrades.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to payroll accuracy and confidentiality.
