A growing Canadian warehousing, manufacturing, and logistics company is looking for Production Operators to join its team on a 6-month contract.
This is a hands-on production role responsible for the efficient packaging, repackaging, and production of various products while following established procedures, quality standards, and workplace safety protocols.
We're looking for dependable, safety-focused individuals who work well in a team environment and take pride in producing quality work.
Location: Tillsonburg, ON
Pay: $21.00 per hour
Schedule: Day Shift, 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
What You'll Do
- Package and repackage products according to customer specifications
- Fill containers to proper specifications
- Label containers accurately according to instructions
- Complete production and inventory paperwork as required
- Perform manual packaging tasks as needed
- Operate production and packaging equipment, including filling machines, cappers, boxers, and related equipment
- Handle customer products carefully and ensure finished goods meet required specifications
- Use RF scanners to record production and inventory information
- Perform quality inspections throughout the production process
- Operate pressure washers and work in wash bays to clean empty containers
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment through daily housekeeping
- Perform repetitive motions and lifting throughout the production process
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and training
- Perform other related duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
- 1+ year of production experience in a manufacturing environment required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and training
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced production setting
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Good manual dexterity and ability to perform repetitive production tasks
- Previous forklift experience is an asset
- Counterbalance forklift experience is preferred
- TDG and/or forklift training is considered an asset but is not required
