Hiring: AI Lead / Solutions Architect | Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
We're looking for an AI Lead / Solutions Architect to drive AI and machine learning initiatives for a leading Canadian bank. If you've taken AI from prototype to production and enjoy leading teams while shaping strategy, this one's for you.
What you'll do
- Lead R&D on AI/ML for financial services, including document intelligence and automated decisioning
- Architect end-to-end AI solutions, from model design to scalable deployment
- Experiment with RAG, multi-agent systems, and transformer architectures
- Build and maintain deployment pipelines for model rollout and monitoring
- Lead cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers
What we're looking for
- 10+ years in software development or research, with expert-level Python
- 3+ years of hands-on AI/ML engineering in production
- Strong AWS cloud development background (8+ years)
- PyTorch, TensorFlow, HuggingFace, LangChain
- FastAPI, Django or Flask, PostgreSQL, ETL pipelines
- NLP, computer vision, RAG, multi-agent systems
- Proven experience leading technical teams and complex AI projects
Nice to have: financial services or regulated-industry experience, document processing and PDF parsing, LLM optimization, publications in AI/ML.
