As our community presence continues to grow, we are expanding our outreach efforts and strengthening partnerships with healthcare providers, clinics, and organizations across Kelowna.
We are seeking a Manager of Community Partnerships to help build trusted relationships, increase referral pathways, and support our long-term growth.
This role works closely with our Director of Community Partnerships and Client Services team to ensure our agency remains a respected, visible, and valued resource in the community.
Position Overview
The Manager of Community Partnerships is responsible for developing and nurturing relationships with healthcare professionals, community organizations, senior-serving groups, and referral partners throughout Kelowna and the surrounding area.
This role is ideal for someone who is naturally warm, confident, community‑minded, and comfortable representing our agency in public settings.
Your work directly contributes to increasing client inquiries, strengthening referral networks, and expanding the number of families we support.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, clinics, case managers, allied health professionals, and senior-serving organizations
- Conduct regular outreach visits, presentations, and check-ins with referral partners
- Identify new partnership opportunities within Kelowna’s healthcare and community ecosystem
- Represent the agency at community events, workshops, and senior-focused initiatives
- Collaborate with the Director of Community Partnerships to execute outreach strategies
- Track outreach activities, referral outcomes, and client acquisition metrics
- Maintain a professional, compassionate, and trustworthy presence in all interactions
- Support brand awareness efforts, including treatment room partnerships, presentations, and community education
- Provide feedback to leadership on emerging opportunities, gaps, and community needs
Hours & Schedule
This is a part-time role starting at 8–16 hours per week, with flexibility to increase hours as community partnerships grow and referral activity expands.
Additional hours may occasionally be required for community events, presentations, or high-value outreach opportunities.
This structure allows for meaningful, focused outreach while providing room for the role to grow into a larger position as referral momentum builds.
Qualifications
- Strong familiarity with Kelowna’s healthcare landscape, senior services, and community organizations
- Comfortable with public speaking, presentations, and relationship-building
- Warm, professional communication style with the ability to build trust quickly
- Experience in community outreach, healthcare liaison work, marketing, or relationship management
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- A genuine passion for supporting seniors and families in the Okanagan
Compensation
We offer a compensation structure designed to reward meaningful community engagement and successful client acquisition:
- Base Wage: $22–$24 per hour (depending on experience)
- Commission: 5% of billing hours for 8 weeks for every new client you bring in through your outreach efforts
