Warehouse Operator

A growing Canadian warehousing, manufacturing, and logistics organization is looking for a Warehouse Operator to join its team on a 6-month contract.

This role is ideal for an experienced warehouse professional who is safety-focused, reliable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment. The successful candidate will support warehouse operations, product packaging and labeling, inventory accuracy, order staging, and the safe movement of products.

Pay: $21.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and package products according to customer requirements
• Match Bills of Lading (BOLs) to physical shipments
• Deliver required paperwork to the appropriate personnel
• Inspect and segregate damaged products
• Maintain accurate physical inventory and perform random inventory audits
• Package and label products accurately
• Distribute products and stage loads for shipment
• Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse through daily housekeeping
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and applicable AWSA protocols
• Operate material-handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Perform repetitive lifting and physical tasks as required
• Identify and report health and safety concerns
• Perform other warehouse and operational duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

• 1+ year of manufacturing or industrial warehouse experience
• 1+ year of order picker forklift experience
• 2+ years of counterbalance forklift experience preferred
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions and established procedures
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Good manual dexterity and ability to perform hands-on tasks
• Previous Working at Heights training or experience is considered an asset
• Willingness to work overtime when required
