My wife and I are looking for a reliable, warm, and trusted part-time babysitter/nanny to join our family for date nights, weekend relief, and occasional daytime "tap out" time. Our daughter attends daycare during the week, so this role is all about giving us a reliable break to catch our breath, run errands, or enjoy a much-needed date night, knowing our little one is in safe, caring hands. We are looking for someone calm, attentive, and flexible who can step in, build a fun connection with our toddler, and seamlessly manage bedtime or evening routines. The Role & Responsibilities Evening & Weekend Care: Looking after our daughter during date nights, weekend outings, or occasional daytime coverage when we need to step away. Bedtime & Evening Routines: Following our established bedtime routine (pajamas, books, and settling down for sleep). Safe, Relaxed Play: Keeping things fun and low-stress—hanging out, reading stories, and doing quiet play before bed. Basic Support: Simple snack or milk prep if needed during the shift, and tidying up any toys used during the visit. What We’re Looking For * Experience caring for toddlers. * Valid CPR and First Aid certification. * A warm, patient, and proactive communication style. * Non-smoker with a clean background check/police record check (or willingness to obtain one). * Bonus: Experience with early childhood development or a background that encourages active, creative play. Schedule & Location * Location: East Kingston, near the Starbucks. * Schedule: Part-time, approximately 15–20 hours per week across 2–4 days afternoons /evenings.
