East Penn Canada is seeking an engaging Bilingual Human Resources Generalist to join our HR team at our state-of-the-art Head Office in Courtice, Ontario.
In this 100% onsite role , you’ll contribute to impactful HR programs, recruitment, and employee engagement initiatives.
What You’ll Do
Act as the primary HR contact for approximately 50 Quebec-based employees and partner with HR Business Partners to provide guidance to managersSupport the development and implementation of HR policies, programs, and initiativesSupport Talent Acquisition Specialist with French, Bilingual, and Operations recruitmentChampion the company by participating in career fairs, and supporting onboarding, recognition, employee engagement, and training programsPrepare and maintain accurate documentation and input for key HR processes, such as promotions, terminations, and performance management actions
Enhance employee engagement by building trusted relationships with employees, while providing exceptional customer experienceConduct exit and stay interviews, analyze feedback, and provide insights to HR Business PartnersChampion innovation and continuous improvement as methods to improve HRDraft HR communications and training materials; translate and adapt for French-speaking employees, as requiredWhat You Bring
3-5 years of progressive HR generalist, or related HR experienceFluency in French and English (verbal and written) requiredKnowledge of provincial employment legislationPost-secondary diploma or degree in HR, Business, or related fieldStrong communication and relationship-building skillsHighly organized with strong attention to detail and prioritization skillsProactive problem-solving skills and ability to influenceStrong critical thinking skills and ability to take initiativeProficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systemsProven ability to navigate a variety of tasks, while maintaining an optimistic attitudeWorks effectively as part of a dynamic team and contributes to a positive team environmentOther Considerations
