As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Modern Niagara you will play a key role in supporting managers and business lines throughout their talent search recruitment and hiring processes. Duties andResponsibilities:â

• Collaborate with People and Culture operations and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and define job requirements
• Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies using a variety of channels
• Build a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future needs
• Manage the full life cycle recruitment processincludingsourcing screeninginterviewingand negotiating offers
• Maintainaccurateand up-to-date candidate records in the ATS
• Coordinate andparticipatein career fairs cooprecruitmentand other networking events
• Ensure candidate experience is positive from application to decisionmaintainingconsistent communication andtimelyfeedback
• Monitor and report on key KPIs to assess effectiveness andidentifyareas for improvement by using a data driven approach to deliver best practices andoptimize
• Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in recruitment and employer branding

Must Haves:

• 3 yearsof full cycle recruitment experience in a high volume fast-paced environment
• Proventrack recordhiring for union and non-union roles specifically within the construction or skilled trades industry
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders andprovidestrategic talent acquisition guidance
• Strong understanding of employment legislation and collective agreements relevant to construction
• Evidence of success in building talent pipelines for hard to fill roles

Nice to haves:

• UKGor similar ATS experience
• Experience with diverse recruitment strategies
• Familiar with workforce planning and high-volume recruitment projects
• Proficiencyin LinkedIn recruiter and Boolean search techniques
• Experience in market mapping the industry

This is a new position. Salary range is $70000 - $80000
