MPA are retained by a leader in Cardiology and Diagnostic Services to recruit for a PET CT Technologist to join their team in Mississauga. The client is Ontario’s leading imaging group, providing a range of radiology and cardiology imaging modalities.
In this role you will be responsible for working alongside patients to perform PET CT scans. The position is open to full-time, part time or casual hours for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Ensure patient identification, safety and preparation procedures are correct before starting nuclear medicine examinations.
- Ensure relevant patient history is documented.
- Inform supervisor, or designated person, of unusual or abnormal cases.
- Set up and adjust nuclear medicine equipment, maintaining established protocol.
- Monitor supplies and notify supervisor of shortages.
- Ensure all quality control assessments are performed as required.
- Rest and Stress myocardial imaging.
- Rest and stress MUGA’s.
- Clean, tidy and disinfect nuclear medicine equipment and change rooms.
- Current and valid Certificate of Registration with CMRITO
- Knowledge and proficiency in general nuclear medicine procedures.
- Maintain current CPR and First Aid certificate.
