310T ApprenticeLocation: Milton, ON Schedule: Monday to Thursday (6:00 AM – 3:30 PM) & Friday (6:00 AM – 12:30 PM) — No nights or weekends Compensation: Level 2: $29.23 – $33.00 / hour | Level 3: $33.40 – $35.00 / hour About the Role: 310T Apprentice We are looking for a motivated, mechanically inclined, and career-focused 310T Truck & Coach Apprentice (Level 2 or 3) to join a premier transit bus and highway coach repair and refurbishment facility. Working out of a modern, clean, 110,000+ sq. ft. indoor shop, you will assist with fleet maintenance and repairs while actively progressing through your apprenticeship program. Key Responsibilities: 310T Apprentice
- Perform preventative maintenance and entry-level mechanical repairs on transit buses and highway coaches.
- Assist senior mechanics with servicing, troubleshooting, and complex repairs across various bus systems.
- Complete accurate maintenance and preventive maintenance (PM) documentation.
- Support general shop upkeep and ensure work areas and equipment remain clean and organized.
- Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures consistently.
- Work collaboratively within a dynamic team while demonstrating initiative, accountability, and strong communication.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Apprenticeship Status: Completion of Level 1 or Level 2 Motive Power – 310T Truck & Coach Technician apprenticeship training (seeking Level 2 or 3).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on shop experience.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Strong troubleshooting skills and a passion for continuous learning.
- Tools: Must provide own basic hand tools.
- Soft Skills: Strong organizational, time management, and verbal/written communication skills.
- Work Ethic: Highly committed to safety, quality craftsmanship, and working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
