What you will be doing :

  • Lead and drive the business development agenda within International Wealth Management (IWM).
  • Design and implement IWM client segment strategies (eHNW, HNW, and UHNW), collaborating with stakeholders for target setting.
  • Define and evaluate segmentation guidelines for subsegments based on data-driven insights and market dynamics.
  • Track performance of wealth segments and specific initiatives against set targets and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Develop multi-year plans for profitable growth based on client segmentation, market conditions, and business objectives.
  • Establish and oversee implementation of the segmentation framework and standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of the segmentation program.
  • Monitor performance against established KPIs and implement necessary changes.
  • Ensure strong controls and effectiveness of the internal referral process.
  • Facilitate sharing of best practices between domestic and international markets.
  • Promote a data-driven culture by leveraging analytics to identify distinct client segments.
  • Conduct internal and external research to inform strategy and understand client needs.
  • Ensure effective operations while adhering to business controls related to operational and regulatory compliance risks.
  • Build a high-performance environment and implement a people strategy that attracts and develops the team.

Do you have the skills to enable you to be successful in this role? We would love to work with you if you have :

  • Master’s degree or MBA preferred with 5+ years of relevant experience in financial services.
  • Strong understanding of Wealth Management business including Brokerage, Private Banking, Offshore, and Trust offerings.
  • Advanced knowledge of International Wealth Management industry and understanding of HNW and affluent customers’ needs.
  • Fluency in Spanish is an asset; experience working in Latin America is an asset.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to identify client pain-points and propose solutions.
  • Strong organization and self-management skills to convert strategic objectives into measurable results.
  • Solid project and process management skills.
  • Strong strategic influencing, coordination, prioritization, and execution skills.
  • Advanced presentation skills and adaptability to change.
  • Ability to work independently and originate programs and ideas.
