Film 101AB - Making Movies - Winter 2027

Position Summary

An entry level course that introduces students to technical and creative ways of using mobile phones/cameras and available software to record and edit still and moving images for film, music videos, social media, live streaming. The students will use their own phone/cameras and available software to shoot and edit short exercises and assignments. Position Requirements

• The successful candidate must hold an MFA or BFA in Film Production or equivalent field, with preference given to applicants with an MFA who meet all the essential criteria.
• Essential criteria include experience in film production, as well as creative and technical knowledge of digital and film cameras, audio recording, and editing software.
• University teaching experience is considered an asset.
