Bilingual Financial Processing Specialist
Our client is a well-established organization in the financial services industry and is seeking a detail-oriented Bilingual Financial Processing Specialist to join their team in Markham.
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in financial services, banking, legal or a related environment who enjoys working with documentation, processing transactions, and providing professional support to business partners.
The Opportunity
In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and processing financial documentation, ensuring information is accurate and complete, and supporting business partners throughout the funding process. You will work closely with internal teams and external contacts to resolve questions, identify discrepancies and ensure transactions are processed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and validate financial contracts and supporting documentation to ensure all required information is accurate, complete and properly authorized
- Cross-reference contract information with internal systems and identify any discrepancies or missing details
- Ensure applicable rates, terms and program requirements have been accurately reflected in documentation
- Process and input contract information into internal systems with a high degree of accuracy
- Investigate and resolve documentation or processing issues in a timely manner
- Respond to inquiries by phone and email, providing clear and professional support to business partners
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with key external contacts
- Follow established processes and compliance requirements while managing a consistent volume of transactions
- Prioritize and organize multiple requests while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy
- Assist with additional administrative and operational responsibilities as required
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in banking, financial services, legal or a related industry
- High School Diploma required; post-secondary education is an asset
- Fluency in both English and French, with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail with a proven ability to identify discrepancies and maintain accuracy
- Comfortable working with computer systems and entering data efficiently
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment
