About Our Client
Our client, a growing manufacturing organization, is seeking an Accounting Analyst to support its budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities. This role will work closely with management and operational teams while also providing support with pricing, product costing and inventory analysis.
Employment Type: Temporary with the potential to become permanent
Responsibilities:
- Support annual budgets, forecasts and financial planning.
- Analyze results against budgets and identify variances, risks and opportunities.
- Prepare financial models, management reports and forward-looking recommendations.
- Partner with department leaders to understand business drivers and improve performance.
- Support pricing, product costing and inventory analysis.
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability, productivity and cash flow.
- Assist with financial process improvements and special projects.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of budgeting, forecasting or financial analysis experience.
- Exposure to costing, pricing, inventory or manufacturing is an asset.
- Strong financial modelling, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with an ERP system.
- Post-secondary education in finance, accounting, business or a related field.
- CPA or accounting designation is not required.
- On site Monday to Friday
