Nanny Wanted - Looking For A Part Time Nanny

We are looking for a kind, reliable and flexible part-time nanny/family helper to become a trusted part of our family. We have a 7-year-old son who is active, social and involved in several sports. Ideally, we would love to find someone who speaks French and would be comfortable helping him with conversational French, reading and schoolwork, as he is currently finding French challenging at school. French-speaking is strongly preferred, but we are also open to the right person who is a great fit for our family. This is not a traditional Monday–Friday nanny position. We are primarily looking for help during some evenings and weekends, with occasional additional hours depending on our schedule. Responsibilities may include: * Spending time with our son and helping with homework, reading and French practice * Occasional school or activity pick-ups/drop-offs * Driving him to hockey, soccer or other activities * Helping him get dressed and organized for hockey and taking him to games or practices * Spending the day with him on occasional weekends when we are away * Bringing him back to his grandmother’s home after activities when needed * Occasionally staying at our home while we are away * Walking and helping care for our dogs during those times * Light meal/snack preparation and general tidying up after activities We travel occasionally, so there may be weekends when we need someone who can step in and help coordinate our son’s activities while he stays with his grandmother. For example, this might mean picking him up in the morning, getting him ready for hockey, taking him to his game, spending some time with him afterward and returning him to Grandma’s house. We’re looking for someone who is responsible, warm, energetic and genuinely enjoys being around children. Because driving is part of the role, a valid driver’s licence and safe driving record are important. Reliability and flexibility are especially important to us. Our biggest priority is finding someone our son really connects with and who we can trust and rely on long-term.
