Job description
Our valued client is looking for a Snr SAP Architect to provide recommendations in regards to the business process being researched or implemented, creates architecture artifacts for the projects
% remote, 6 month contracts
Responsibilities:
- Perform high level configuration activities
- Perform detailed demonstrations and explore the SAP S/4HANA functionality related to FI/FM/CO including focus on new best practices
- Demonstrate the similarities and differences between S/4 and ECC 6 systems
- Capture identified gaps during demonstrations and document high level mitigations
- Lead the exploration of applicable Fiori tiles for FI/FM/CO
- Identify potential integration points with SAP SuccessFactors and/or H4/ HCM
- Capture specific risks and issues and provide high level mitigation strategy
- Capture any pre-work requirements that need to be completed in advance of transition
- Identify any and all new innovations available in S4/HANA for FI/FM/CO and articulate the strategic significance
- Provide guidance to other members of the team.
- Create a recommendations document that includes:
- specific risks/issues
- detailed pre-work requirements to ensure today’s suite of solutions is ready to transition to the next generation solutions
- detailed and specific suggestions for Fiori tiles usage
- detailed and specific adoption strategies for the future of the system based on high level requirements for today and future.
Must Have:
- 10+ years of experience as a SAP Architect - Provide SAP Architecture Recommendations in regards to the business process being researched or implemented, creates architecture artifacts for the projects. Develops SAP, frameworks, strategies, and architecture model, to meet the business and technical requirements. Ensures the integration of all aspects of technology solutions in SAP.
- 7+ years IT experience within the 10 years in all phases of the systems development life cycle including documenting business requirements, systems analysis, project design, development and testing.
- 7+ years within the last 10 years experience working with SAP systems and development in an S4/HANA environment.
- 7+ years experience analyzing, documenting and validating business requirements with the client, IT stakeholders and development teams.
Nice to Have Skills:
- 10+ years experience in all phases of the systems development life cycle including documenting business requirements, systems analysis, project design, development and testing.
- 10+ years experience working with SAP systems and development in an S4/HANA environment.
- Experience in developing and deploying ERP solutions using the Financial Accounting (FI), Funds Management (FM) and Controlling (CO) modules.
- Experience using Fiori tiles
- Experience in supporting SAP Travel and Transportation Modules
