Housekeeper Wanted - Searching Richmond Hill, On: Experienced Pt Housekeeper Needed $20/Hr For One

GENERAL - Provide one day per week of household support for working couple in Richmond Hill, ON. Primary tasks include (1) cooking and meal prep for 4-5 dinners per week, and (2) laundry and putting away clothing/linens for the week. Additional light tidying and organizing as reasonably requested. - Couple, in their 60s, are busy professionals and each manage ongoing health conditions. Husband has long haul COVID and wife has multiple sclerosis, with some mobility restrictions. COOKING/MEAL PREP - Prepare 2-3 large meals for the coming week sufficient for 4 meal servings. Meals must be prepared in accordance with dietary restrictions (kosher; anti-inflammatory diet (non-dairy, non-gluten)). - Divide meals into individual portions for the coming week for quick lunches/dinners. - Coordinate in advance with couple re: ingredients/groceries required to prepare meals. - Proficient cook who enjoys making flavorful, fresh, and nutritious food, ideally with experience preparing meals from different cuisines around the world. - Bonus if prior experience working with families with dietary restrictions, but not required. LAUNDRY - Wash laundry for couple for the week (including clothing and bed linens/towels/table cloths, etc). - Coordinate with couple for care re: delicates/washing of specific items. - Iron as needed. - Fold and put away laundry. - Change bedsheets, replace towels, swap table cloths. - Coordinate with couple re: laundry supplies. TIDY UP/LIGHT ORGANIZATION/ERRANDS - Clean up kitchen/pantry/laundry room following use. - Additional light cleaning and household tasks as observed/reasonably required around the house. - Longer term tasks, as time allows: (1) organize kitchen/pantry/laundry room in coordination with couple to improve efficiency and order of the spaces; (2) assist couple with organizing closets; (3) discuss occasional/seasonal special projects with monthly cleaning service, such as window cleaning, keeping balconies clean, deep cleans of corners and lesser used rooms (e.g., guest rooms, basement rooms). - Bonus if able to run occasional errands at nearby stores with own car (e.g., pick up dry cleaning, prescribed meds, etc). COMMITMENT - Initial commitment will be one day per week for at least six months. Potential for position to grow into additional days and responsibilities based on need and fit.
