Job Title: Software Developer - Full Stack Senior (Apache Camel, MuleSoft, Enterprise Java)

Must Haves
- Enterprise Integration: Advanced experience with Apache Camel, MuleSoft, Enterprise Java, REST APIs, and data transformation technologies (JSON/XML). Experience designing, developing, and
- Cloud & Platforms: Expertise in OpenShift/Kubernetes for containerized deployments
- Location: Up to 3 days onsite (subject to HM's discretion)
Description / Responsibilities / Skills
Assignment Duties
- Determines requirements, analyzes and recommends feasible options, designs, builds, tests, and implements enterprise information structures and applications.
- Applies technical expertise to ensure security, privacy and quality assurance requirements are implemented consistent with MFIPPA and legislation.
- Develops and/or applies complex business and application models, information structures, data models, and technical program code.
Experience & Skill Set Requirements
Education & Foundation
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline with experience delivering large-scale enterprise IT solutions.
Ecosystem Knowledge
- Experience integrating enterprise applications, including CRM, ERP, asset management, training management, document management, and regulatory/compliance systems.
Data & Reliability
- Strong SQL skills and knowledge of fault-tolerant integration patterns, including retries, dead-letter queues (DLQ), monitoring, and data consistency approaches.
Modern DevOps
- Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, source control, automated testing, and infrastructure-as-code.
Architecture & Design
- Ability to design complex integration solutions, map data flows, and produce clear architectural and technical documentation.
- Experience applying integration patterns and API-led connectivity principles in MuleSoft-based architectures is an asset.
Business Translation
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical integration specifications.
Collaborative Leadership
- Ability to work across multiple teams, facilitate technical discussions, and resolve data ownership, governance, and integration challenges.
Assignment Duties
- Collaborates with business and technical inter-divisional staff and professional services to deliver and sustain API development and integration solutions through the life cycle.
- Reports progress to manager, stakeholders and team members and ensures successful delivery of solutions adhering to project management methodology.
- Determines requirements, analyzes and recommends feasible options, designs, builds and/or codes, acquires, tests, and implements enterprise information structures and applications.
- Applies technical expertise to recommend, develop and maintain corporate policies, procedures and standards that are consistent with legislation.
- Applies technical expertise to ensure security, privacy and quality assurance requirements are implemented in a manner consistent with MFIPPA and legislation.
- Develops and/or applies complex business and application models, information structures, data models, data schemas, technical program code, network and security interfaces.
Deliverables
- Prepare requirements specification, technical documentation (system architecture, design documents, and technology stack descriptions), user documentation.
- Prepare database schema, entity-relationship, and data flow diagrams.
- Prepare test plans, test cases, scenarios, and results documents.
- Track problems, defects, and issues within a large project.
- Assure the quality of integration delivered by the team.
Additional Preferred
- Experience with AWS services (Lambda, SQS, S3) is an asset.
