Job Summary :
The Field Safety Specialist is responsible for providing daily support to assigned terminal facilities in a geographic region to drive the execution of Health & Safety standards by providing coaching on hazard identification risk assessment, leading incident investigations and prevention recommendations, conducting observations, safety compliance reviews, providing information on safety management systems, and other safety and health tasks. This position will work closely with the operations, engineering & technical services teams, and contractors in efforts to bolster effective performance of safety programs / policies and drive a culture of sustained safety excellence Must be able to maintain a strong working knowledge of a wide variety of safety regulations and issues and performs tasks to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
