Financial Analyst - 6 months

About the Opportunity

• Support annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial planning.
• Analyze financial results, business drivers, and variances against budget, forecast, and prior year.
• Prepare financial models, profitability analyses, management reports, dashboards, and KPIs.
• Support scenario and sensitivity analysis for business initiatives.
• Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.
• Assist with financial statements, reporting schedules, audits, and compliance.
• Participate in finance transformation, ERP, system, and reporting improvement projects.
• Support other finance and strategic initiatives as required.

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, budgeting, or forecasting.
• Strong experience with financial reporting, variance analysis, and forecasting.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling; PowerPoint experience.
• Experience with ERP/financial systems such as Workday or SAP.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• CPA enrolment or designation is an asset

Pay Range

$35 - $40 / hour
