Job description
Commissionaires BC is currently looking for security guards for an RCMP Call Centre/document centre site in Kelowna. Position hours: Full time Monday to Friday 4pm till midnight or midnight to 8am Part time weekends Saturday and Sunday 8am till 4pm, 4pm till midnight, midnight to 8am Wage: $22.97 per hour Please be aware that this role requires an RCMP Reliability Clearance, which can take up to six months to obtain.
We ask that only candidates who are prepared to remain engaged throughout the clearance process and associated waiting period submit an application.
Some of your responsibilities include: Static front desk security control/access control Escorting site visitors Perform regular exterior and interior building patrols General administration duties Report all incidences to the Site Supervisor and provide investigation report.
Your Must-Haves: A valid BC Security License A valid Basic First Aid (OFA 1) certificate Have resided in Canada for 5+ years and be a resident or PR for clearance purposes Willing to go through RCMP clearance process Intermediate to advanced computer skills Fluent English written, verbal and reading skills Excellent customer service skills Your Nice to Haves: Prior security experience in a similar environment What’s in it for you?
