Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in 3rd/4th year of a post-secondary program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related program
• Equivalent experience may be considered, including self-directed learning, technical certifications, bootcamps, GitHub portfolios, application development projects, automation projects or open-source contributions
• Experience building solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate & Power Apps
• Experience designing, maintaining & troubleshooting Power Automate workflows
• Experience writing SQL queries & working with relational databases
• Understanding of data structures, relational data models & system design concepts
• Experience working with APIs, HTTP requests, JSON & system integrations
• Experience configuring SharePoint lists, permissions, metadata & information architecture
• Experience with some/all of: Power Automate, Power Apps, Copilot Studio, SharePoint, SQL, Power Query, Rest APIs, HTTP requests, JSON, HTML/CSS, Python, VBA, Dataverse

Day in the Life

This is a hands-on technical student role focused on automation, application development, data, AI tools & digital problem solving. Working closely with the HR R&D Team Lead & Coordinator, you'll help turn ideas into practical solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint, SQL, APIs & emerging technologies. You'll contribute to solution design discussions, build new solutions, enhance existing ones, investigate issues, test improvements & help ensure solutions remain scalable, maintainable & user-friendly.

Most days start with checking automations, troubleshooting issues or picking up a new enhancement request. You might spend part of the day building a Power App, improving a flow, writing SQL queries or figuring out why a connector suddenly stopped cooperating.

Some days you'll be improving existing tools, other days you'll be building something completely new. You'll experiment with AI, automation & emerging technologies while gaining hands-on experience with enterprise systems used across the company.
