Adecco is currently hiring several full-time dependable and hardworking Heavy General Labour Warehouse Associates for a pharmaceutical warehouse environment. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy active, physical work and are comfortable working in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled facility.
As a Heavy General Labour Warehouse Associate, you will support daily warehouse operations through order picking, packing, counting inventory, and preparing products for distribution while maintaining high standards of accuracy, quality, and safety.
Pay Rate: $17.60/hour
Location: Markham, ON
Shift: 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Responsibilities:
Pick, pack, and count customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Load and unload products following established warehouse procedures.
Verify inventory and ensure order accuracy.
Perform general warehouse duties, including sorting, organizing, and staging products for shipment.
Use ladders safely when accessing products in storage locations.
Follow all company safety policies and standard operating procedures.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Work in temperature-controlled storage areas as required.
Complete additional warehouse and distribution duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
Previous warehouse, order picking, packing, or general labour experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
Comfortable using ladders and performing frequent bending, twisting, reaching, and lifting.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift 25-30 kg (55-66 lbs) consistently throughout the shift.
Comfortable performing physically demanding warehouse duties.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and twisting required.
Work Environment
Pharmaceutical warehouse environment.
Must be comfortable working in cold storage and refrigerated areas ranging from -10°C to 5°C.
Protective jackets and gloves are provided when working in temperature-controlled areas.
Safety-focused environment with strict quality and compliance procedures.
Additional Requirements
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
Position not suitable for Students.
Availability to work the scheduled 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM shift.
