Position: JDE E1 CNC Administrator

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented JDE E1 CNC Administrator to serve as the technical backbone connecting our JD Edwards application, database, and system infrastructure. Reporting directly to the JDE E1 Team Leadership, you will be responsible for the architecture, installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance of our JD Edwards EnterpriseOne environment.
In this role, you will participate in all stages of the implementation lifecycle—including discovery, training, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. Environment & Package Management: Install, configure, and maintain JD Edwards EnterpriseOne path codes (Development, UAT, Production). Manage Object Management Workbench (OMW) data mappings, build/deploy software changes, and track custom objects.
System Administration & Optimization: Monitor system performance (CPU, memory, disk I/O) and utilize Server Manager to manage kernel processes and optimize application and web servers.
Security & Compliance: Set up and maintain role-based user access, object-level security, and segregation of duties (SoD) controls.
Upgrades & Maintenance: Apply Electronic Software Updates (ESUs), Application Software Updates (ASUs), Tools Release updates, and Service Pack updates.
Database & Infrastructure Support: Collaborate with DBAs to support database systems (Oracle, SQL Server, IBM iSeries/DB2). Support middleware integration, automation tools, and disaster recovery/high-availability solutions.
Troubleshooting & Support: Troubleshoot JDE printing and infrastructure issues across multiple environments, collaborating with cross-functional technical teams.
Cloud & Integrations: Support cloud-hosted JDE environments and related system integrations (e.g., BSSV, Orchestrator).
Experience: 3 to 10+ years of dedicated experience in JDE EnterpriseOne CNC administration, preferably working with releases E9.1 and E9.2.
Database Expertise: Hands-on experience working with relational databases, including Oracle, SQL Server, and IBM iSeries/DB2.
Application Servers & OS: Strong familiarity with J2EE application servers (WebLogic, WebSphere) and enterprise operating systems (Windows, Linux, AIX).
Integrations: Knowledge of BSSV, Orchestrator Studio, middleware integrations, and automation tools.
Problem-Solving & Documentation: Exceptional analytical skills to troubleshoot complex, multi-environment issues. Ability to create technical documentation, business presentations, and power user training materials.
Flexibility: Ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment, with evening and weekend availability required as needed for maintenance windows.
Experience with cloud-hosted JD Edwards environments, particularly Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
Knowledge of disaster recovery planning and high-availability architecture.
