Adecco is currently hiring several full-time General Laborers as packaging associates within a fast-paced manufacturing environment for our client in Brampton, ON. This role is ideal for detail-oriented individuals who takes pride in quality workmanship, follows procedures closely, and enjoys working as part of a team.
In this role you will be responsible for ensuring finished products are accurately inspected, packaged, labeled, and prepared for shipment while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Responsibilities:
Package finished products according to established specifications and customer requirements.
Inspect materials for defects and promptly report quality concerns to the appropriate team members.
Prioritize packaging activities based on production schedules and shipping deadlines.
Verify and document product measurements, specifications, weights, and quantities.
Ensure order counts and packaging details are accurate before shipment.
Complete required production, packaging, and inventory records.
Generate and apply product labels and shipping documentation using company systems.
Maintain compliance with all quality standards, procedures, and operational requirements.
Use hand tools and basic equipment to assemble and prepare shipping skids and packaging materials.
Assist in training and supporting new team members as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow all workplace health and safety regulations, company policies, and safe work practices
Qualifications and Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of experience in packaging, warehousing, shipping, receiving, or a related production environment.
Previous manufacturing experience is preferred.
Experience working in a fast-paced production setting is considered an asset.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work efficiently while meeting production targets and deadlines.
Excellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills.
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when required.
Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices within a manufacturing environment.
Experience using hand tools and assembly equipment is an asset.
Reliable, dependable, and committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy.
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
