Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Associate Engineer for our client in Toronto, ON. This is an exciting opportunity focused on advanced systems software, compiler technologies, programming language runtimes, distributed systems, and AI framework optimization.
This role is ideal for experienced software developers who enjoy solving complex technical challenges and working on cutting-edge technologies that power next-generation computing platforms.
Pay Rate: $63.00/hour

Responsibilities:
Software Development
Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance software solutions.
Build scalable systems ranging from embedded platforms to cloud environments.
Contribute to compiler, runtime, distributed systems, and platform technologies.
Performance & Optimization
Analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize software performance.
Improve system scalability, efficiency, and reliability.
Support AI, machine learning, and hardware-accelerated workloads.
Collaboration & Innovation
Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and Agile development activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
Research and evaluate emerging technologies and development practices.
Qualifications and Skills:
Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of software development experience using C++, C, or Java.
Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, operating systems, and software architecture.
Experience with Agile development, source control, and modern software engineering practices.
Experience in Compiler development (LLVM/Clang), JVM or programming language runtime development, Deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, ONNX, TVM, MXNet, Caffe2) or Hardware acceleration (GPU, NPU, FPGA)
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
