Part Time Quality Assurance Coordinator

Pay band : 25$ - 28$ per hour This is an Existing Vacancy Position Summary The role of the Quality Assurance Coordinator is to pursue Community Living Hamilton’s goal: “Helping Build Great Lives” by ensuring effective quality assurance support to our Finance, Operations and Client Services teams with a strong emphasis on attention to detail.

Responsibilities: Conduct semi-annual third-party audits of client finances and provide recommendations to address discrepancies or concerns.

Complete monthly and quarterly reviews of client financial logs and bank statements to identify anomalies, risks, or areas requiring follow-up.

Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as required.

Conduct regular audits of client and program files, including Individual Support Plans (ISPs), to ensure compliance with Quality Assurance Measures (QAM) and agency standards.

Support the organization’s record retention practices by reviewing, organizing, archiving, and securely destroying files in accordance with established requirements.

Collect, analyze, and report statistical and operational data related to job responsibilities.

Identify opportunities for process and service improvement and provide recommendations to management.

Identify, mitigate, and report potential risks that may impact organizational resources or service delivery.

Contribute to the implementation of strategic plans, organization-wide projects, and initiatives by identifying trends, changes, and emerging needs.

Build and maintain strong working relationships with Leadership, Client Services, Operations, and other members of the extended management team.

Develop and maintain positive relationships with external stakeholders that support the organization’s reputation, services, and community partnerships.

Contribute to an engaged workplace culture where employees feel valued, connected, and committed to shared organizational goals.

Ensure compliance with applicable legislation, organizational policies, Quality Assurance requirements, and Occupational Health and Safety standards.

Participate in required training and ongoing professional development.

Promote and demonstrate the Vision and Mission of Community Living Hamilton within the workplace and broader community.

Report workplace hazards and contribute to ongoing health and safety improvements.

Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive client, employee, and organizational information at all times.

Qualifications: A college diploma in business administration, finance or office administration preferred 2+ years’ experience in an administrative position, preference to be given to experience within not for profit or social service field Experience providing entry level finance support Knowledge and experience of bookkeeping and accounting to maintain program record and reconciliation Previous data entry experience Highly proficient office administration application skills: Outlook, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). Superior attention to detail and analytical skills Exceptional organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal Demonstrated knowledge of quality improvement methodologies and experience supporting successful quality improvement initiatives Experience or familiarity with Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services Required Organizational Practices for Client Safety Process-oriented, and able to adhere to policy or refer exceptions to senior management Experience supporting and coaching employees/teams to ensure proper adherence to quality assurance measures French language fluency, or other language fluency considered an asset To Apply: If this describes you and you are interested in learning more about this role, we invite you to submit a resume and cover letter by October 10 , 2026.
