Project Manager - Electronic Security Technology

We are seeking a dedicated Remote Security Systems Project Manager / Estimator to join an industry-leading integration and electrical contractor. In this role, you will oversee end-to-end lifecycle delivery for comprehensive electronic security systems servicing key public and private sectors, including healthcare facilities, civic infrastructure, and utility sites.

As a dual-function project manager and estimator, you will balance technical cost estimation with active job site leadership. You will evaluate project specifications, submit competitive bids, build budget frameworks, and ensure complete execution across dynamic project scopes. Operating remotely with localized field touchpoints, you will serve as the core point of contact connecting field technicians, design coordinators, system vendors, and high-level stakeholders to deliver advanced access control, video surveillance, and intrusion alarms on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities
Manage total project delivery—including contract administration, financial tracking, labor allocation, material ordering, scheduling, and deficiency resolution.
Prepare comprehensive cost estimates, calculate change orders, and assemble competitive tenders for electronic security solutions.
Foster strong working partnerships with suppliers, engineering consultants, general contractors, and end-user representatives.
Oversee financial documentation to guarantee accurate progress billings, reporting, and prompt account reconciliation.
Analyze operational project reports and present actionable metrics to senior leadership and project teams.
Direct the completion and delivery of operational manuals and accurate as-built engineering drawings upon project closeout.
Collaborate continuously with field crews, designers, and project support teams to ensure performance metrics stay aligned with timeline and budget expectations.

Qualifications
3+ years of combined project management and estimating experience specific to the electronic security technology sector.
Strong technical expertise in integrated security platforms, including access control, IP CCTV/video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems.
Proficiency with standard office productivity suites (MS Word, Excel, Outlook). Familiarity with construction management and estimating software (e.g., Procore, Accubid) is considered a strong asset.
Proven leadership, communication, and interpersonal capabilities to lead cross-functional teams and external client relationships.
Excellent organizational skills with a strong capacity to manage competing deadlines and project demands.
