Treasury Specialist

Position: Treasury Specialist (12 Month Contract) Location: Vancouver, Canada Department: Finance Group Reports to: Director, Treasury Position Summary In Treasury, we focus on managing Seapeak's cash and liquidity, maintaining the company's overall financial health, and mitigating financial risks to our business.

This includes supporting our day-to-day business obligations and long-term financial objectives.

The Treasury Specialist will support the Treasury team in the administration and reporting of debt facilities, banking activities, lender reporting requirements, KYC documentation and treasury-related projects.

Working alongside experienced treasury professionals, the successful candidate will gain exposure to corporate treasury, debt financing, banking operations and treasury management systems.

This role offers the opportunity to develop treasury expertise through hands-on experience, mentorship and training from experienced members of the Treasury team.

This high-volume, time-sensitive role requires strong organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities to ensure periodic reporting and treasury activities are completed accurately and on time.

• Major Responsibilities Support the administration, reporting and documentation requirements associated with debt facilities and financing arrangements.

Assist with the maintenance of debt and derivative schedules within the treasury management system, Ripple Treasury for $4.3 billion debt and $1.9 billion derivatives and review principal and interest amount due to the banks/agents and check the entries to accounting.

Track lender reporting requirements and assist in the preparation and distribution of periodic reports and supporting documentation and prepare for management's review such as compliance certificates, budget, vessel valuation, insurance requirement.

Liaise with other departments and managing KYC related to loan financings, projects, bank accounts opening Open, close and maintain bank accounts including online banking administration.

Assist with information requests from Accounting, auditors, banks and other stakeholders.

Provide support to Treasury Administrator and other treasury members on their major responsibilities as needed.

Arrange communication for the quarterly distribution on our preferred shares.

Work on treasury and finance reported projects, as required.

Requirements (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities) Post-Secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field Minimum 2-3 years’ treasury and/or accounting experience (preferably with an international company Strong Excel skills Good working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint Exposure to loan documentation or lender reporting requirements Ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment, as well as capable of dealing with frequent changes, delays or unexpected events Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills alongside the demonstrated ability to prioritize and work under deadlines Attention to detail, meticulous, self-motivated and demonstrates integrity Strong interpersonal and excellent written and communication skills Independent problem solving and decision-making abilities, elevating issues where appropriate Preferred Exposure to banking operations or cash management Experience with treasury management systems Experience with Oracle ERP Cloud or similar accounting systems Why Join Seapeak Impact & Exposure : Your work will directly support senior leadership and influence real business decisions.

Compensation The typical hiring range for this position is $65,000 – $75,000 CAD per year.

The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Benefits Package Contract Completion Bonus 17 vacation days, growing to 30 days with service, plus statutory holidays 100% company paid benefits for employee and direct dependents includes extended health, dental and vision.

During probationary period, this position is required to be fully on-site. You are able to work from home up to 2 days per week after completing your 3-month probationary period.
