Overview:

Pembina Pipeline Corporation’s Calgary office is actively hiring for an Intern, Commercial Admin to join the team. This position reports to the Supervisor, Logistics & Joint Ventures in Pembina Gas Infrasturcture (PGI).

Pembina Gas Infrastructure provides industry-leading natural gas gathering, compression, processing, and transportation services across Western Canada. With a network of strategically located facilities and pipelines, PGI safely and reliably connects producers to key markets while supporting the development of Canada’s energy resources. Guided by a commitment to safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement, PGI plays a critical role in delivering the energy that powers communities and industry every day.

The Intern, Administration & Contracts will support PGI to fulfill its contractual, regulatory, and fiduciary obligations across its Joint Venture and Commercial portfolio. Timely management of ballots, budget approvals, outstanding accounts receivable collections, audits close out and readiness, AFE approvals etc. is essential to maintain customer service and internal business requirements.

This is a 12-month contract starting in January 2027.

Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

• Perform role-specific responsibilities such as managing 500+ agreements and all associated documentation and PGI’s contract tracker and database; administering contract updates, including counterparty assignments, amalgamations, and name changes; overseeing communications with 19 Working Interest Owners of PGI’s 48 JV Assets, including JV Admin inbox management and mail ballots; and providing support for the PGI Commercial, Legal, Accounting, and Logistics teams. This may also include participating in a project and presenting outcomes or learnings at the end of the term.
• Support day-to-day work and learning activities related to the team or function, using tools such as Microsoft Office, SAP, Copilot/ChatGPT, and other applicable systems.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program (i.e. Engineering, Legal, Finance) and returning to school following the end of the work term;
• Field of study aligned with, or providing relevant transferable skills for, the role applied for;
• Ability to commit to the full duration of the term and required schedule, Must be available to work the entire 12-month term (starting January 2027); and
• Demonstrated reliability, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn in a structured environment, aligned with Pembina’s values and safety expectations.

The successful candidate must be legally able to work in the country of the position. The final candidate will be required to undergo Pre-Employment Background Checks including a Criminal Record Check.

This position is scheduled to be posted until end of day: 10/07/2026. In rare circumstances, a position may be posted for less time if there has been significant interest in the role.
