Overview:

Pembina Pipeline Corporation’s Calgary office is actively hiring for Intern, Finance - Audit & Project Cost Services roles to join the team. Multiple positions are available through this posting, supporting the Internal Audit and SOX program as well as AFE & Governance Support (Project Cost Services). Depending on the position, this role reports to the Director, Internal Audit or to the Supervisor, AFE & Governance Support (Project Cost Services), within the Internal Audit department, part of Pembina’s Financial Services Division.

Internal Audit provides independent and objective assurance to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors ("Board") and management as to the adequacy and effectiveness of the Company’s risk management, control, and governance processes to achieve the objectives of the Company. Internal Audit also assists management by providing objective assurance and advisory services designed to add value and improve operations.

The term lengths vary by position and range from 4 months to 8 months, beginning in May 2027.

Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

• Perform role‑specific responsibilities, which may include SOX control testing (primarily ITGCs), Internal Audit engagement testing, support for Pembina’s Digital Enablement (AI) initiatives, and/or the administration of projects – including project close-outs, reporting, data analysis, internal controls, and other special projects as needed. This may also include participating in a project and presenting outcomes or learnings at the end of the term;
• Support day‑to‑day work and learning activities related to the team or function, using tools such as SAP (including the Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) and Project Systems (PS) modules), Microsoft Office (including Copilot and AI Agents), AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude, data analytics tools such as Python, and other applicable systems;
• Support Pembina’s safety culture of “Zero by Choice” by caring for yourself and others and following Pembina’s Life Saving Rules at all times;
• Demonstrate Pembina’s values by working in a manner that is Safe, Trustworthy, Respectful, Collaborative, and Entrepreneurial, recognizing that how results are achieved matters; and
• Contribute to an equitable, diverse, and inclusive workplace by being gracious, kind, respectful, and working effectively with others.

Qualifications:

• Role specific qualifications or assets related to the position, such as accounting, finance, strong Excel skills, and prior exposure to data analytics, computer science, project management, analysis, and digital platforms;
• Currently enrolled in a post‑secondary program (3rd or 4th year preferred for certain positions) and returning to school following the end of the work term;
• Field of study aligned with, or providing relevant transferable skills for, the role applied for;
• Ability to commit to the full duration of the term and required schedule; and
• Demonstrated reliability, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn in a structured environment, aligned with Pembina’s values and safety expectations.

The successful candidate must be legally able to work in the country of the position. The final candidate will be required to undergo Pre-Employment Background Checks including a Criminal Record Check.
