Select People Solutions is searching for an Estimator to join our client’s team. The successful candidate will bring strong analytical, organizational, and project coordination skills, with the ability to develop accurate estimates while helping projects move smoothly from initial inquiry through execution. Working closely with customers, suppliers, contractors, and internal teams, this individual will review project requirements, prepare detailed costing, coordinate information and timelines, and support successful project handoffs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in estimating, project coordination, construction, manufacturing, fabrication, or another project-based environment.

Position Summary:
• Review project specifications, drawings, scopes of work, and other documentation to determine project requirements
• Prepare accurate estimates, takeoffs, quotes, and supporting cost calculations for labour, materials, equipment, and external services
• Source and coordinate pricing from suppliers, contractors, and other external partners
• Track project costs, changes, timelines, and documentation throughout the estimating and coordination process
• Collaborate with operations, management, and other internal teams to support project planning, handoffs, and execution
• Communicate with customers to clarify requirements, address questions, provide updates, and support a high level of service
Required Qualifications:
• 3–5 years of experience in estimating, project coordination, project management, or a related project-based role
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and other technical or project documentation
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple estimates and projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with customers, vendors, contractors, and internal teams
• Proficiency with estimating, project management, ERP, or related software; ability to learn new systems quickly
