Position: Systems Administrator / Operations Support Specialist – Senior

Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite – 5 days per week
Allocation: 100%
Hours: 7.25 hours per day, Monday to Friday, between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, excluding lunch

Position Overview
Our client is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator / Operations Support Specialist with strong Oracle Siebel CRM expertise to support, administer, maintain, and troubleshoot complex Siebel environments within a large enterprise organization.
The successful candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Siebel Server administration, multi-tier Siebel environments, Oracle databases, Siebel integrations, performance troubleshooting, deployments, migrations, and operational support.
This role requires a highly experienced Siebel Systems Administrator who can work across Development, Test, UAT, and Production environments and provide reliable day-to-day operational and technical support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide systems administration and operational support for enterprise Oracle Siebel CRM environments.
- Set up and maintain user access, user profiles, system configurations, backup and recovery processes, and day-to-day computer systems operations.
- Administer Siebel environments, including installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, maintenance, and environment support.
- Manage and support multi-tier Siebel environments, including Development, Test, UAT, and Production.
- Support high-availability Siebel architectures and ensure system availability and reliability.
- Administer and maintain Siebel Gateway, Siebel Enterprise Server, Siebel Web Server Extension (SWSE) and related infrastructure components.
- Troubleshoot Siebel performance issues, server bottlenecks, component failures, enterprise synchronization issues, and application outages.
- Perform Siebel migrations, deployments, repository management, code promotions, repository merges, and release management activities.
- Monitor application health, system capacity, workloads, and infrastructure utilization.
- Perform log analysis and implement proactive system maintenance procedures.
- Conduct software upgrades and apply patches while ensuring operational stability.
- Monitor computer workload trends and make adjustments to optimize utilization of computer resources.
- Support integrations between Siebel CRM and external systems using EAI, REST/SOAP services, web services, and middleware technologies.
- Work with Oracle databases, including performance monitoring and SQL troubleshooting, and coordinate with database administrators as required.
- Support Siebel EAI, Integration Objects, XML, Web Services, and data migration utilities.
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Siebel configurations and components using Siebel Tools.
- Support Business Components, Business Objects, Applets, Views, Workflows, Assignment Manager, and Runtime Events.
- Develop and troubleshoot eScript, Browser Script, Business Services, and Workflow Processes.
- Support Open UI configuration, customization, and troubleshooting.
- Develop and maintain operational procedures, technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and support runbooks.
- Coordinate with technical teams, application teams, database administrators, and other stakeholders to resolve operational issues.
- Provide customer-facing technical support and ensure requested system changes are implemented effectively.
- Participate in incident, problem, and change management activities.
- Ensure assigned work is completed within established deadlines and service expectations.
