Intermediate Business Systems Analyst - HYBRID

Our Calgary client is seeking an Intermediate Business Analyst for an initial 6-month contract to work at the intersection of technology, strategy, and public service. Responsibilities
• Coordinate event plans, facility needs, equipment bookings, and loan records for the technology centre
• Prepare clear user-orientation materials and maintain up-to-date technology inventories across all systems
• Oversee software package application implementations and coordinate needed software installations
• Resolve technical vendor tickets and manage team shared-mailbox support in a timely manner
• Gather, organize, and analyze significant amounts of operational data with attention to detail and accuracy
• Perform business impact, risk, and value analysis to evaluate emerging technology opportunities
• Support onboarding, vendor coordination, and general administrative services across emerging tech initiatives

Qualifications
• Three or more years of recent experience as a Business or System Analyst
• Three or more years of experience in data analysis, data collection, and software development methodologies
• Proven track record with software package application implementations and system development projects
• Background performing business impact, risk, and value analysis for technology projects
• Experience or exposure related to UI/UX design, project management planning, or large public sector organizations
