Operations Officer - 58661

We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Operations Officer II to join our operational support team. This back-office role focuses primary on managing user access provisioning and de-provisioning across various internal financial applications, as well as troubleshooting related technical issues.
As an Operations Officer II, you will provide operational support and process general-to-specialized administrative transactions within the Operations & Technology functional area. You will be responsible for maintaining operational effectiveness, supporting internal partner relationships, and meeting key Service Level Goals. This role involves zero external customer data access and focuses entirely on internal back-office functionality and systems support.

This is an exceptional entry-level opportunity within the financial services sector to gain valuable hands-on experience in access provisioning, system administration, and operational workflow management within a supportive, 7-person team environment.

Location: Dieppe, New Brunswick (Hybrid: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote)
Position Type: 6-Month Contract (Extension Possible)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end provisioning and de-provisioning of access profiles across various internal financial applications.
Troubleshoot user access issues and provide timely, effective resolutions to internal colleagues after initial training.
Leverage and run internal PowerApps and software platforms to execute daily tasks and workflow processing.
Participate actively in daily team touchpoints, task distribution, and process updates.
Ensure all processing tasks and internal inquiries meet established Service Level Goals accurately and efficiently.
Adhere to strict process and audit guidelines, operating policies, and compliance procedures, identifying and escalating potential operational risks as needed.
Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement and adapt smoothly to new technologies or workflow changes.

Qualifications
Requirements (Must-Have)
Education: High School Diploma completed.
Experience: 2 to 4 years of overall professional work experience (administrative, operational, or trade processing background).
Technical Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with a strong emphasis on Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs) and Word.
PowerApps: Experience running and navigating PowerApps applications (building/developing applications is not required).
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for seamless interaction with internal colleagues and team members.
Technical Adaptability: Demonstrated tech-savviness with the proven ability to learn new software platforms and business systems quickly.

Preferred (Nice-to-Have)
Prior experience with system access provisioning/de-provisioning.
Exposure to trade processing or cash products (e.g., loans, deposits, FX spots/forwards, money market products).
Familiarity with Global/WSS platforms or similar operational databases.
