Compensation: $125,477 – $130,000 annually

About the Role

Goodwill Staffing & Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a premier primary care clinic in Belleville, Ontario, seeking three (3) dedicated and innovative Nurse Practitioners.

In this role, you will deliver comprehensive primary healthcare, health promotion, and disease prevention services both within the clinic and throughout the local community. You will manage clients with chronic conditions, collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, and connect patients with community agencies to provide holistic, evidence-based care.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive primary health care to clinic patients following standards set by the provincial governing body and aligned with strategic clinic goals.
• Provide health promotion, disease prevention, and supportive care within the clinic and broader community.
• Expand and enhance access to primary healthcare across diverse client populations.
• Establish networks with local community agencies for supportive referrals.
• Maintain active involvement in continuous quality improvement and evidence-based practice.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Registrations

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited university.
• Master's prepared education as a Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner.
• Registration as an RN (Extended Class) with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
• Active membership in the Registered Nurses' Association of Ontario (RNAO) or Nurse Practitioners' Association of Ontario (NPAO).
• Professional liability insurance.

Experience & Skills

• Minimum of two (2) years of related experience in a primary healthcare or community setting.
• Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems (e.g., TELUS).
• Proficiency with Microsoft software, internet tools, and drug database programs.
• Demonstrated understanding of Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI).
• Strong communication skills; proficiency in French is considered an asset.
• Experience in program design and delivery or additional clinical certifications are assets.

Job Requirements

• Valid Ontario Driver's License and access to a vehicle to travel locally for care delivery.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies (minimum two doses or a valid medical exemption).
• Ability to pass a Police Vulnerable Sector Check (at the candidate's expense) prior to employment.
• Compliance with workplace Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures.

Physical Demands

This role involves minimal physical effort, with a balance of sitting and standing throughout the workday and frequent position changes.
